• Master’s degree: 23 points
• Bachelor’s degree: 21 points
• Post-secondary diploma or certificate: 19 points

1. Language Skills Points: Points are awarded for proficiency in English and/or French. Scores on language tests such as IELTS or CELPIP are used to determine points.

• 18-35: Maximum 12 points
• 36: 11 points
• 37: 10 points
• And so on, decreasing by 1 point for each year until 45, after which no points are awarded.
